Operation principle: the machine consists of a drum, on the walls of which an abrasive coating is applied on the inside. There is a plate, which is also coated with abrasive material (corundum) at the bottom of the drum. The plate spins, due to which the roots vegetables are thrown up and “fly” inside the machine, hitting the walls of the drum. Due to the collision with the abrasive layer, the jacket is tucked off from the tubers.
